The Getaway unites a truly idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with the ultimate in luxury lodge living. A superb, unique retreat in blissful harmony with nature, perfect for family holidays and short breaks at any time of year.
The Getaway is our Scandinavian Luxury Log Cabin and is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac next to The Getaway. It is beautifully light and contemporary throughout. This spacious living space has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay away from home. The open plan kitchen is designed and finished with modern appliances and you have all the mod cons you need to cater for a family feast or a simple meal for two. All utensils and crockery are provided ensuring a truly “home from home” experience.
The Getaway is a perfect sanctuary away from the concrete jungle of city life.

This spacious living space has everything that you could need for a comfortable stay away from home.
As well as comfy sofas for total relaxation and enjoyment.
The beauty of natural wood walls is celebrated throughout which gives this cabin a unique feel. The Getaway has a spacious open-plan living area and is the open-plan kitchen/diner which is perfect for cooking and chatting.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and all the utensils and equipment that you should need. It’s all here when you need it; the microwave, fridge-freezer, hob, and toaster. When you’re done, you can load the dishwasher, open up the doors, and soak up the country air with a quiet Pino Grigio.
The appliances include an electric oven with gas hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and large fridge-freezer.
Bedroom 1 (Double)
With tall-boy dresser, two bedside units, walk-in wardrobe and a full-size hairdryer and flat screen TV. All bed linen and towels are provided. Large en-suite with walk-in shower. Sinking into the cushy bed with a pile of the weekend papers, some hot coffee and pastries from the nearby market town deli, lazy afternoons have never been so rejuvenating.
Bedroom 2 (Twin)
Super comfy beds with bedside unit in-between, and flat-screen TV. With double wardrobes and set of drawers providing plenty of storage. Large en-suite with walk-in shower.
Bed Settee
In the living room the bed settee sleeps six.
Outdoor Decking Area And Hot Tub
A round table and chairs are undercover on the veranda, with a large table and chairs on the spacious decking area, perfect for alfresco dining. The sun loungers are here too. The deluxe hot tub is on the flagged area. Snuggle up by the seating area with a glass of hearty red and an old romantic film playing in the background…Bliss.
Bathroom/WC
Shower, sink and WC. Sorry but the bathroom is not suitable for total wheelchair access.
Parking
Space to park two cars at the rear of the cabin.
